Hey guys quick question, I am looking at a Bell and Carlson Medalist and a CHoate tactical stock for my next build. I see they both come with "precision CNC Machined Aluminum bedding blocks" and they say no bedding is needed. Is it customary to just leave them be or do people normally skim bed or fully bed a stock even with an aluminum bed?

Re: B&C/Choate Stocks!!

I had a sps-v stock that I had pillar bedded and when I upgraded to the Bell and Carlson M40 stock, it opened up my groups. When I skim bedded it they got tighter than ever, torque seems less important as well.
Skimming it done right won't hurt anything at all.

I haven't bedded mine and it shoots Bugholes with the right person behind the trigger. (obviously i am not referring to myself in that)
