Gunsmithing Considering a .338 Lapua build but have questions

I am thinking about machining my own action and know the obvious way to start is with A PTG bolt. I can get one with a larger dia and larger dia lugs but what about length? Will a standard Remington LA bolt be long enough for .338 Lapua? I've seen a factory Rem in .338 Lapua but did not know if they had to make an extra long, long action.
I will use a 1.125 tenon.

Thats what got me started. I bought one of his EDM'd Blanks and a .308 PTG bolt about a year ago and when its done I want to start another. Its tough but sure is fun to do your own.
