So I have a Bushnell HDMR w/ the G2. On Saturday I shot a match, and had no issues what so ever. First time I've used the G2 in a competition and I REALLY like it.

On Sunday we had a Stalk and shoot. I shot 265 yards and hit my target. I then loaded up my rifle, drove down to the pits, worked the pits, and then moved out to the 200 yard line. We had a target put up at 100 yards. I had to put 2 shots in the eye box. I did that w/ my zero on 100 yards. Then from the same spot, they popped up 200 yard targets. I shoot 200 and the spotting disc comes up -.4 mils. Hummm. I dial another .4 and fire. Okay, Ii'm now at .9 mils from my 100 yard zero, and that's some how my 200 yard come up? No way right? 2630 FPS SMK from SW118LR.

So now this is where I goof it all up. Walking to the 300 yard line, I turn down to 0 and then -.3 and reset the turret. I know I'm a dumb ass, I should have had it at +.3 So now I dial 1.3 mils and I'm .7 low, at the time I had no idea why I was low again. I fought w/ this all the way out to 600 yards.

At the time I thought my scope had failed to track,

That's not the case as you can see me test that below.

SO, Rifle was TQ to spec, I'm running badger rings, and a pierce 20 MOA rail on the pierce action, the scope tracks and RTZ w/o any issues. WTF could cause it to drop .4 mils in between two shots?

To see if the barrel is loose?

Lol, Do you even shoot, bro?

If the scope is tracking, before and after, and everything is torqued properly, all signs point to ammo problems or some kind of obstruction on the muzzle. I have two HDMR's and they track perfectly.

Good luck, I bet you don't even shoot...

Yes. One of the rifles I cracked the barrel loose with my bare hands. The other had maybe 5 lbs of torque left on it which caused occasional POI shifts.

The first time around I checked everything else I could think of. I even bought new expensive rings and a expensive scope. Next time around I was suspicious from the previous experience.
