I'll never get used to the looks of rails on handguns but they are sure usefull.

About $1100 shipped off gunbroker. Thats the only place I could find one of these. I figured I better pick one up before colt starts making the m45s for the marines and puts these on hold for the rest of the world.

I paid $1050 for the pistol and 50 for shipping across the country. So the pistol was $25 under MSRP for the bitone.

From what I can see they’ve gone up around $100 in the past year.
So, they've gone up a bit but not drastically. It'd definitely harder to find a new one these days which has affected the price.

I'm so glad they made the trigger black! I always hated makers that "tactical" the pistol out in black and leave trigger aluminum/silver!

Nice looking gun. I've been thinking of getting a 1911 with a rail to have a flashlight on my home defense gun. My Kimber doesn't have one.

After owning a Springfield TRP 3/4 rail, I dont think I could ever go back to a non-railed 1911..

sadly havent made it to the range yet but judging from the fit and finish this should be a great gun.

Very nice gun the thing i did to mine was put an ed brown thumb safety on it the colt safety is thick and dug into my thunb the ed brown is shaved down lower in the rear of the safety and it feels like a new gun.
