I am looking for a DBM for my Rem 700. The two I have it narrowed down to are American Precision Arms RTG and the BAD-DBM. I know about and have used the APA but haven't seen many reviews on the BAD-DBM or heard much about them. Anybody got any feedback on the BAD-DBM?

Re: BAD-DBM?

Thanks Jersey, I prefer the mag release that is integrated to the trigger guard like the two I have mentioned above. But I do appreciate the input.

Re: BAD-DBM?

Well I went ahead and got the BAD bottom metal and figured I would let ya'll know what I thought about it. I just got my Manners stock bedded and installed the new bottom metal. It looks awesome and the quality is very high. The mag release is very easy to use without having to alter your grip and it is ambidextrous. It also came with 9/16ths pillars and action screws. The pillars are supposed to be the right length so no trimming is needed. They were the correct length for my rifle(Rem 700 sps). All in all I would recommend this to anyone looking for this style of bottom metal and it was about 300 bucks for it and a 5 round AI mag.

Re: BAD-DBM?

Matt, thanks for the review. I have been debating about ordering the BAD DBM, even asked the same question here a couple months back. Did you have to have the stock inletted? I have a H-S and may have to send it out.

Re: BAD-DBM?

I have a Manners T4a and it fits perfect. I did not have to do anything so as long as it has been inletted for a Badger M5 then you should not have any problems. I really liked the APA bottom metal that is similar to the BAD but a friend of mine had it and I did not want to get the same one he has. But I am glad that I went with the BAD and have no regrets.
