An obvious increase in group tightening, reduction of recoil and noise.

It really does sound like a HV .22 round when shot.

Congrats. I don't honestly know if I've fired a rifle round without a suppressor on the end of it since I got mine.

Well, without getting into the mundane and esoteric tedium of relating my brake removal, suppressor attachment, POI shift stuff, here's a pic of the result of mounting my AAC Cyclone on my Dick's Sporting Goods Rem. 700/.308 Varmint.

By the way, the POI shift was dead center laterally and 1 inch low.

Sorry about the focus, best I could do.

That's a 10 round shot group completed over a period of about 3 hours to provide for a cold bore shot each time.

Range is 100 meters. No wind, 59 degrees, 30% RH, DA ~ 500'

Wish I weren't so old and shakey!!!

Needless to say, the rig is a whole lot more able than I am!

I'm simply amazed how the suppressor has tightened up my cold bore shots. I don't understand the physics, but it sure as hell works.

Maybe one of the suppressor gurus here can explain why I'm getting a tighter cold bore grouping . . . ? ? ?

Killer, I just bought one of those Dicks Sporting goods Varmints in 308, have you done anything to it other than thread and add suppressor? What rounds are you shooting?

I guess that I should throw this out, also . . . I have an astigma problem, that could account for a little bit of the vertical spread.
