All depends what you are looking to do with it.
Are you hunting or just bench shooting?... Sitting or Prone?...

Terrain where you are using it also matters.
I hunt tall grasses and soybean fields so at times I have to sit on edge of fields with the tall bipod.

Take in consideration all types/scenarios you will be in or shooting.

Good questions.

This is a target gun that will be used as a sniper gun if the SHTF. I will not hunt with it.

Scott built the chassis around a Harris bipod....LOL!

Seriously, a notched leg, swivel Harris with a pod lock, will do anything you want. I like the 6-9"

If shtf, you will definitely be hunting with it. Take that into consideration whether it be game or foe.
