decided to try out the 208 amax in my 30-06 and for some reason on the 2 ocw's i did the higher the grains went the more the bullet pulled to the left. this never happened on the 150 nosler's, the 155 palma's or the 168 amax. can anybody explain this? it moved about 2" to the left going up 1 grain in powder charge. i was doing .2 grain intervals

Barrel harmonics, reactive torque to bullet spin, who knows?

Disregard the horizontal shift, you're looking for vertical dispersion.

was shooting 4 rd groups and had a ragged 3 hole with a 4th i pulled

Ignore POI change from one bullet or one charge to the next, seen it happen tons of times. You just need to find the best groups with the most consistent speeds and then zero to that POI.
