That's a very fast twist. I was shooting them in my 1-10 twist savage 24" barrel with Varget. I started at 39.5gr and worked my way to 42gr. Don't start at 42gr as that is a pretty stiff load. It might be too much if you're seating the bullet with the intention of fitting it into a Remington magazine.
Alot of people also use RL-17 with good results. It will give you more speed, but it's very temperature sensitive. I used Varget as I was more interested in consistency than raw speed.
