Same Here . not really a Tom Cruise groupie but love the Sci-fi since I was born .
You Got to admire the Sci fi niche that he groomed & cut-out for himself . (imho) Big Box office productions & a Sci-Fi niche much like Charlton Heston carved out for himself . Heston & Cruise are from a different era Hollywood but I think they share something in common that Not anybody could have pulled-off like Heston did & that Cruise is doing with the big production Sci-fi . Sci-fi crossover but able to carry other demanding Acting roles as well & bring in the paying fans .

Look; I can dig it that some of us don't like Cruise's politics, etc.

Enough, already; this forum is about cinema, not politics, etc..

The movie looks intriguing; and I'll be seeing it, <span style="font-style: italic">without</span> preconceptions.
