Re: badger M5

I've been searching for information on these can't seem to find much. Guess ill stick to getting the RTG from APA, personally like the design better.

Re: badger M5

I have one of the PTG Stealth DBM assemblies next to me and as near as I can tell it's the same as the Stocky's DBM on their website. My guess is that Stocky's is just rebranding the unit and giving it the M5 moniker for whatever reason. I have a Badger Ordnance M5 DBM in my other rifle and while there are differences I think the PTG unit is a great unit for $130. The machining of the PTG unit is nice and clean with a smooth Type II anodized finish. Like the Badger M5 the PTG shipped with two bedding pillars and new action screws for the proper installation of the unit in a stock. I think the PTG is a great option for guys on a budget, like I am for my latest project, and can't afford the Badger M5's and APA DBM's.

Re: badger M5

I know to spend $300+ on a dbm to me is a bit pricey then I see this one on stockys and say to myself what's the catch. I've learned to buy once cry once, and not being able to find any reviews on it makes me shy away.

Re: badger M5

Find a PTG and spend the $130 on one. Then find some AI magazines and you're all set for around $200 with a single magazine. I have a Badger and a PTG and actually like the PTG's extended bottom a little better.

That's the one I was looking at, now my question is would you buy another one or go with the Badger M5 or APA RTG?
