Its 2 lug so 60 Deg</div></div>

wow, not sure how that works but i like it. How is the bolt lift? i knew tikka makes a 70 degree bolt throw with only 2 lugs, but i have never seen a 2 lug with 60, i thought you could only get that with 3 lugs. congrats on seriously improving the 2 lug design!!

Re: New Action from Defiance

Lefty's and Long Actions will be available. 223,Std,and Mag bolt face, (probably Rigby/Lapua as well) They just started with the Short action right hand for obvious reasons, should have all of the above in production by Mid Year 2013 or sooner!!

Re: New Action from Defiance

Little more info on the action. Was designed with the same length tennon as a Remington, so it should drop in the chassis systems and Remington stocks with minor mods. Most of the other Defiance receivers have extended tennons, this one with the integral lug gives virtually the same thread length as the long tennon version. Bottom is round still, yet the sides above the stock line are faceted slightly. The inital ones will only be available with the Guardian AW cut as I have be told. Should be a winner...we have our Rogue version on the way as well.

This is exactly what I wanted to hear about tenon length. I'll wait to build till these are available.

Nice! Defititely looking forward to the LH actions.

Re: New Action from Defiance

Oooohhh!!! PURDY!!!

Many build ideas jump into my head seeing that action. I'll be looking forward to seeing them (and particularly the Templar v2.0 action). Thanks for sharing, George!

Re: New Action from Defiance

Specifically how is this an improvement over the current Templar actions? I can make a pretty good guess, but I'd rather hear the specifics from a more knowledgeable source. Thanks!

We will start taking orders after the first of the year. I will have the first couple here on Wednesday. One for Shot show and one to start abusing at the range. They will be an Option on all GAP Builds after the first of the year.

I too would like to see a medium length. I already own a "XM" action, and think they are perfect for the mid-length cartridges such as the SLR's

Tony.

Optimized for short mags and long loaded SA cartridges with DBM support, but that would probably be the killer.
