LMT Barrel Swap

I'm looking at an MWS in a CL 16" barrel at my local shop. I know now isn't the time to be picky, but I'd really like an 18" or 20". Is it possible to throw a different drop in barrel on that gun, or am I stuck with only LMT barrels?

Very easy. However, the 16" CL barrels have a reputation of shooting very well, so you may not need to.

You are pretty much stuck with the lmt barrels. There are a couple places out there that will convert other barrels for use in the mws but that seems like it would end up being a good bit of trouble. I was going to get one converted for use, but by luck I found an lmt 1/8" twist 6.5cm barrel and snagged that for drop in use.

Also, if you don't want that mws I'd love a pm of the contact info for the shop with that rifle in stock.

I've shot the 16" MWS out to 900 yards using cheap 150 gr Walmart ammo.

I would like to set up a 18" second MWS but have not had any luck finding a god one in the last two months. With the frenzy now I suggest you pick up the 16 if the price is reasonable.

Dood, respectfully, at this point you are to late. Take what you can get. LMT will not be Able to cover orders for at least a year if not longer.

I had some picky friends yesterday.....2 years from now they're still going to be empty handed 2 years from now....or pay 3x (if not more) for something even less similar to what they wanted.
