I've done some research (talked to local class 3, forums etc) and I'm torn. I currently have a sparrow for my 22 but I want my next can to be mult purpose

The issue- I want a 7.62 can for bolt gun and for 300blk SBR and for use in 5.56 (may consider 5.56 dedicated can but would rather not. With wait times and the fact that I'd rather have another gun (for cost of another can.

- AAC SDN-6 - I have read many issues with "wobble" using 51T brake QD. My local guy said he did have customer with baffle strike exiting the side. I take with grain is salt (not sure if user was an idiot. But that with other issues about wobble has me concerned

-TBAC - titanium (30ba) might not hold up on 300blk or 5.56 use (by use I mean NOT select fire but I still play some. I read somewhere no more than 10rds per min. Not sure

-YHM - I know the least about this can

Basically I need either a SS heavy brick (which is not ideal for bolt gun) or titanium which would heat up too much for 300blk/5.56 fire rate

Am I screwed and need to buy 2 cans??

Re: Help me decide

The 30BA can withstand quite a bit of .300 Blk/Whisper/Fireball, especially subsonics. The objective with this titanium suppressor is to keep it under about 800 degrees and you'll need a lot of .300 Blk to exceed that. The .300 has about 35% less powder than 5.56 for full power loads, and around 60-70% less for subsonic loads.

You can use the 30BA on a 5.56 if you have a reasonable sporting rate of fire, not sustained, and keep an eye on the temperature. SBR's create more heat than the longer barrels.

Trust Zak. He is always helpful and knows more about suppressors than anyone else I know. Always available to answer your questions. Just got my Gun Trust finalized yesterday and waiting for my suppressor to arrive at my FFL. No one can predict the future, but everything in Washington is about power and money-not what is rational, reasonable and Constitutional. Someone will probably need to defend this Country about the corruption within !!!!

Re: Help me decide

I have the YHM in SS and I really like it. I got the 7.62 QD in Stainless Steel. The only recommendation it to get the Ti due to the extra weight of the SS. The QD mount it nice because it it easy to change between rifles
