Been wanting to try a low mag optic on my 14.5" Noveske Afghan, and found a Nightforce NXS 1-4x24 mil-dot w/zero stops in great shape. Also comes with a Larue SPR 1.5 mount and quick adjust magnification lever for $1,000?

I know there are concerns about the reticles not being visible with illumination in daylight, but I am not too concerned with this.

Worth a shot?

I have the same scope with the FC2 Reticle. I think you will like it but doubt the zero stop will be very useful on that scope. I picked up mine used also for 900 bucks with the same LaRue mount.

I have the 2.5-10x24 and run an offset RMR. Both the 1-4 and 2.5-10 are great optics. If you want a great daylight visible illuminated reticle optic at this price point, check out Meopta's ZD 1-4x24.

If you don't care about a daytime visible dot, that's a strong deal for that scope/mount combo. The NF 1-4x has very clear glass. I ran one on my 3-gun AR for years. Sold it to buy a Swarov 1-6x with daytime visible dot awhile back.

Daytime visable reticle is the MOST overated item tossed around IMO. Get the scope..

I run the same scope on my LMT CQB. You made a great choice at a great price.

Awesome man. Whenever you "upgrade" and get rid of that, I want first shot at it!
