Rifle Scopes Scope coat for 5-20 hd swfa

Re: Scope coat for 5-20 hd swfa

I've had butler creek caps...... kept busting the damn things. Hope to try out their new tactical "living hinge" caps in the future if they expand the sizes they offer them in.

I have a Scope coat for my SS 3-9. I went with the heavier duty model... XP-6. It's made from thicker 6mm neoprene. It works really well, and thus I have no complaints.

I recently bought 3 of these - http://www.scopeshieldalaska.com/id31.html
Ordered the SS14 for my SS 5-20.
It also works very well, with the addition of having the sewn on loop which you can use if you wish. They aren't made of as thick of neoprene as the Scopecoat XP-6, but seem to do just as good of a job.

IMHO, either will serve you well. If I had to buy again, I'd personally just go with the Scope Shield Alaska or the new style Butler Creeks if they have the sizes available that would fit.

I'm currently using butler creeks. No complaints yet. I've been using them forever and haven't really ever had an issue so I just keep buying them.
