Looking for Rem700 barrelled action in 6.5 Creed

Re: Looking for Rem700 barrelled action in 6.5 Creed

...Soltis Rifles is actually teaming up with Rock Creek barrels and will be doing exactly that. We'll be blueprinting new-in-the-box 700 short actions (from Brownells as available), barreling with Rock Creek cut-rifled match barrels in the most popular calibers (6.5Creedmore, .260Rem, 6.5x47Lapua, etc). We'll probably also put some small upgrades like oversized bolt knobs, Badger Recoil lugs, etc. We'll be putting an announcement out soon and will be listing them in the for-sale section. I don't know the price yet, but they'll probably run about $1100 range...

Bugholes has been doing just that for a while now. He builds the barreled action as that doesn't change much, and then you can pick a stock from what he has or go somewhere else for it. If he doesn't have it already built, he usually keeps enough parts to build it without the 6 month wait.

This sounds really nice ...

Copyleader... "Like"

Semi-custom barreled actions would be a nice starter for lots of guys not wanting a factory chamber/twist. Great idea.

...I agree. I was over at Rock Creek talking to the shop manager, Paul, and he actually got me going on it. Great way to get guys started with their semi-custom/custom rig at a very affordable cost. Now if I could only get them to turn out barrels 24/7, we'd be good to go!
