I was wondering if someone makes a cast to make your own 338 lapua bullets? Would cast bullets at 300gr even be able to stand up to the 2600-2700 fps? Just wondering in a SHTF type situation if this would be possible

I have a mold to play with 200gr in my SPS Tac 700, but haven't yet. From what I'm seeing, around 1800 fps is about the top for lead.
Still, accuracy can be very good, and for hunting they seem to work well. But this is all just what I've read so far.
Poke around the Cast Boolits forum if you haven't yet. That's where I've learned a lot.
