A write up for a mini project I just finished up. I took a brand new Springfield M1A super match / wood stock and bedded it in a McMillan stock and pillar bedded the rear lug as well.
A LOT of pictures and it give you an idea of whats involved if you want to bed your rifle or what you need to do to a McMillan stock to fit it you your rifle.
I used the coat hanger method to set the bedding pressure~ MUCH easier to do IMHO.
