River 10/22?

I have a ruger 10/22 that keeps failing to eject the spent casing causing a jam. I have cleaned the rifle very well and still does the same thing. The action does come far enough back to feed the next round. Anyone know a fix for this issue?

You might look at your extractor. It's possible that you need to either replace or upgrade.

There are aftermarket extractors for the 10/22 that are more aggressive, and might solve your pronlem.

^^^^^This.... I had a 22/45 that would not extract more than 2 shells in a row. Installed a Volquartsen extracter and it ran like a sewing machine.
