In all seriousness it turns recoil into noise. My rifle basically has no felt recoil. You should be very happy with it.
I got the lil jimmy brake which is the same thing as the bastard except it has the tapered tip the ladies enjoy.

I got one. Loud but very effective at reducing recoil. Annoys the hell out of anyone shooting next to me.

I shot my .260 with a lil bastard on it the other day with people that haven't ever been around a muzzle brake. The one guy about shit himself, he was laying about 10 feet away and wasn't expecting it. He was so dumbfounded of what just happened that he was laughing but he didn't want any part of shooting next to me after that.

I hate shooting next to someone with a brake, ILL be nice and wont annoy other shooters by having one mounted.

Disqualify??? I don't think you can use a brake for BR. May want to check into that before installing.

They work very well, but they make life hell for people shooting with / next to you.

Seeing that my next 6Creed is going to weigh almost as much as my current 6Creed, that one weighs 15.5lbs, I dont think I need to worry about recoil so much.

The APA Bastard series work extremely well and are some of my favorite brakes, but as others have mentioned they are a bit loud...

I think the FAT bastard would be better, I run it on my .338 LM and it works very well, but is loud.
