i have a 220 swift in a remington vssf and i am thinking about having hart transform into 6.5x47 any thoughts

Don't like the Swift or is it at the end of its' life? Hart should be a good deal. Get it twisted plenty and shoot the crap out of it.

Is your swift a long action? Bartline built me a Swift a few years back to run 75g v max that gives up very little.

I did the exact thing. the 6.5 Lapua is a great round. Give Jon Beanland a call, goes by Beanland here on the hide. He is an excellent gunsmith. Go for it,
