Gunsmithing HELP: Need advice. New Sig but is it broken??

I picked up a brand new SIG 238. I have not fired it yet but there is some damage around the pin hole. I am not worried about the cosmetics and I really don't want to be trying to deal with warranty returns and repairs with how busy everyone is.....but, if its no good, I need to trust the pistol.

Is this just cosmetic damage or something I should send back??? Any help would be appreciated:

btw.....i have no idea why there is an arrow on the random piece of paper underneath the pistol, it points to nothing relating to the pistol...

Judging from the pic, it appears to just be cosmetic.

I would say cosmetic also.

Good luck getting Sig to cover the damage anyway. They will probably say you did it during dis/ass. Should have noticed it before you bought it unfortunately.

Yeah..... That's what I figured about sig as well........as lame as that is for a somewhat expensive little pistol, so long is its cosmetic, I don't care.....just worried about pin hole getting cracked or bored out under recoil ......
