chassis

Decided to go with a chassis on my 700p .338lm. Probably gonna go with an AI setup. I havent ruled out other companie yet. But for an AI setup, Either the std or the AX series. I have used the std setup but never been behind the new AX series.
Anybody got any opinions on these setups vs others. Or any opinions between the AI std vs AX?

I would look at McRee. Also I just switched from a Aics to a McRee and love it

for the cash, mcree is the best... but there are at least 6 others under 1k to look at as well...

I actually went the other way, starting with a McRee and ending up with AICS 2 on all three of my builds. I really wanted to make the McRee work as I know Scott and spent a lot of time working with the chassis trying to get it set up just right for me but after the better part of a year trying I got behind an AICS 2 and within a very short period of time felt more comfortable/relaxed behind the gun.

I would really suggest you try to get some time behind each of the chassis systems you are considering. I think it will be time well spent and should help you identify which of the various systems you feel will work best for you.
