Since my range time has been cut from 3 times a week to 1 Do to ammo shortage I have been keeping sharp with some very good dry fire practice.
1. Working on draw stroke, keeping my body signature low and getting under a second.
2. Speed reloading drills with rifle and pistol
3. Basic dry fire practice with handgun
4. Snapping in with rifle.

May be boring but might as well take advantage to the down time and stay sharp. Anyone else doing no ammo practice during this BS?

I find that helps... I also like airsoft with a steel target or box in my back yard helps too. Hand placement, draw, posture, breath, sight alinement, squeeze, sight alignment and bang. It helps get better and faster at drawing, lining up the sights and the whole shebang. At close range (within 10 feet) it can be quite accurate with those gas blow back pistols too. Dot drills are even possible with occasional flyer.
