This is my second BlackOps Precision rifle and I am very impressed with the fit finish as they always do an outstanding job. The Multi-cam stock job was done by Todd Jackson whom Mike likes to utilize for the painting of the stocks that customers want completed. I would say that is high praise seeing that it comes from Mike Bush!

I had a chance to take out the rifle yesterday for my first shots with the new rifle. I have enclosed my target after I got it sighted in. It was 15 rounds of 140 Hornady AMAX...I dropped two just below the main group but the other 13 were right there in the same expanding hole - that is about as good as it gets for me - the group was right at 1/2 MOA. For commercial off the shelf ammo I don't think it can get much better. I used the 120 AMAX to sight the rifle in and then moved to the 140's. The 140's seemed to shoot tighter but I will have to do more work to really tell if that hypothesis is correct. Mike did tell me that with the 1:8 barrel the rifle would like the heavies better.
I chronographed 120gr and 140gr AMAX to see where it sat as far as early rounds through the barrel and with the 22.5" barrel I really wanted to know the speed.

Overall I am very happy with the rifle and this is my first move into a new caliber in years. The stock is very comfortable to sit behind for long hours and the Timney trigger is super crisp with the 2.5lb pull so as far as this rifle is concerned - it is a winner! BlackOps Precision can always be counted on to put a smile on my face when I first shoot the rifles as in the last two rifles now, they shoot much better than I do. I can't wait to get this out to shoot some steel at distance.
