I started on my precision shooting journey a little over 2 yrs ago and knew nothing about high end optics and thought Leupold's were the best money could buy. Then I got my first Bushnell 6500 and thought it was the cats meow. 2- 6500's later I got a Bushnell Elite Tactical 6-24x50 G2DMR. Now I was set except last year at the Utah State Sniper Shoot a guy let me shoot his rifle with a Premier on it and damn if it wasn't amazing and the best glass I've looked through, but way out of my price range. Well last night I got a Premier 5-25x56 GenII XR and mounted it and HOLY CRAP!!!!!! It is amazing. I had planned to keep my Bushnell for some other rifles I have but now I can't even look through it with out feeling depressed. I really didnt htink it could be that much better than a bushnell but boy was i wrong. So ill probably just sell it and get a BOBRO QD mount and just keep switching it around. Who knows. But I know this my pocket book is seriously gonna suffer cause I won't ever be able to buy lesser quality glass again.

I had the same problem. I never thought there would be that much difference until I bought my first PH. Sold all my other stuff and bought 2 more. I've also got a March-F 3-24 that is the cats meow for a light weight rig.

It's an amazing step from mid range to upper range isn't it? Certainly we use what works as well as what we can afford, but it's always a good thing when we can afford "better" :). The MTC turrets on the Premiers really set them apart from others, the size, the tactile feel, the ease of adjustment and reset make for one hell of a feather in the cap so to speak.

Worse even yet is that the Premier production facility, until very recently, was located only about 10 miles from my house so I could go in an eyeball their products before I purchased them at the invitation of a couple of their first class customer service guys. (I did however, still have to purchase through one of their dealers.) My wallet has been screwed ever since but my eyes are loving it. I've had three of them thus far. Their repair facility is still located locally so I can take my scopes in for a tune-up or update when Paul Lange has the time. I can't say enough good things about their product or their CS. Congrats (I think) on having contracted the addiction to quality optics.
