Both times that Palmetto got FGMM and a hide member shared it to me I got it.

Just about every x has y post I have seen here does help at least one person. If and when I get a tip on something like this, I have better things to do than stroke the ego of the person that gave the tip, and will not respond. I will however reply when the tip is no longer valid so others don't waste their time. That post was valid for about 30 min. Considering the traffic this sight sees I'd imagine I've made a half a dozen people's day by posting this thread.

Yes... Posts like this are a waste of bandwidth in pre sandy days but considering primers are selling 3x msrp nowadays on GB, I appreciate a hot tip, and the majority of others do too.

One possibility is www.gunbot.net --- when it comes up, click on your caliber near the top -- it will show every new posting on many ammo sites, and how many minutes since it was listed, and whether it is in stock -- or is this old news?

I picked up 12 lbs of Varget thanks to a member posting up where it was in stock. You just have to be in the right spot at the right time.

I got an email about Gold Dot 230 gr and by the time I checked they were vapour-ware. I have have a dumb phone or I would try to have email alerts sent to me. Other than blind luck that may be the only way to get some of these things. May as well do the back-order thing elsewhere and wait. And wait. And wait some more.

Don't worry, even with smartphones and being on the 'email me when in stock' list, I still don't get shit sent to me 95% of the time.

One good thing about Midway is that they are limiting the number of items one can buy. I checked my email just in time today to get that notification on the 200s. Midway is really standing out to be one of the most reputable businesses out there in these times. I tip my hat to them.
