New? It comes with rings. A bit high 1" rings. Leupold, Warne, James Calhoon all have rings. Check out calhoons web site. Pretty cool.
I had a 527 American in 223. Superb rifle. Got hot quick though as I am used to heavier barrels that will get 5 off with no drama. Yours should prove to do better.
These need short eye relief scope. Use caution buying one. Also magazine works super nice. At first it will need some muscle memory to get a technique. It will then flow and much better than re making and buying more stuff for a new rifle.
It will be great. Good scope selection and done.

New, I will be going with high 30mm Rings. Most likely will be using a SWFA SS 10X Mil/Mil non HD or Falcon menace 4-14X44mm FFP scope. I am leaning heavly towards the SS. Still open to optics though.

I have CZ 527 Varmint with the Kevlar stock and a SWFA SS 12X MIL/MIL and i love the combo. I did have to go with the high rings to get the scope to clear the bolt handle, mediums were just a hare to low.

How was the cheek weld? Pretty solid? Or more of a chin weld?

I'm a big CZ fan. Have a 452 I love and my shooting pard has the rifle you have, it is an absolutely fantastic shooter....great trigger. You're gonna be very happy with it. I have several friends that have them and are very pleased with thier performance. I'm always looking for another deal on a CZ.

okie

Find some 30mm rings a put a 2.5-10 Nightforce on it! The smaller eyepiece on the compacts will clear the 527 bolt with room to spare.

I would love a Nightforce. Not in my price range though. Imma be running the CZ made pic rail adapter, And then go from there. Glass is gonna be a SWFA SS 10X mil/mil set up. Im trying to spend around 1200 on the set up. So I'm Right around that mark. Between the rifle, glass, and extras its gonna be a little less then 1200 so I'm right on mark.

Anyone have pictures of there CZ rifles, I would like to see the CZ love.

I had a CZ550 Varmint Kevlar in .308 I used the Warne 30mm rings with a Nikon Monarch X 2.5-10X44. That rifle shot extremely well especially considering the cost... I kinda regret selling it and given the chance at another like it I would probably buy another.. Congrats

There are three of us that hunt rockchucks together. A bunch of different rifles and calibers but all of us have a 527 in .223. Two are Kevlar Varmints and one is an American. Mine has a DIP 20MOA base with Burris Extreme low 30mm rings and a Vortex Viper 6.5-20x44mm scope. Because of the base height, there is adequate clearance with the low rings for the bolt handle.

All of our rifles have required a modification. The magazine box and bottom metal are one piece. The magazine box and the action are in full contact before the metal is fully seated in the inlet. You have to trim a little off the top of the magazine box to get the metal to seat fully in the inlet without contacting the action.

Get home and enjoy yourself.

Here's mine in 17 Rem. I thought my CZ was inaccurate but it turned out the scope had shifting problems so I sent it back to Bushnell. I have a BSA 4-14 FFP mil/mil with Warne high rings mounted on it now and there's about a 1/4" clearance above the barrel now. It's shooting 3/4 moa at 100Y, I like it much better now that I know it'll shoot well. Either way it's more of a chin weld, CZ should have given these stocks about a 1/2 higher comb.
