Sidearms & Scatterguns im stuck making a choice?

I'm in the market for a new hand gun.

strictly looking for a 9mm

I have several hand guns but they are all .45 cal 1911's I just bought another 1911 today a sig!!!
and a few wather p22's

I have narrowed down my choices to the fallowing. would like a threaded barrel
sig 226
sig 229
last on the list is the glock don't know what model yet

I have used both of the sigs and I have used a few glocks. I just cant make up my mind on what to go with.
I would not mind a 1911 in 9mm but I want a hi cap 9mm I have seen a few double stack 9mm 1911's but I don't like the double stack 1911's as much.

So im looking for some helpful persuasion.... GO!!

He's right but I'll add this. I bought Sig 226 Scorpion (9mm of coarse) a while ago and it's now my single favorite gun. For the price it offers quite a bit. I have fairly big hands and it fits me much better than anything else I've had. The 9mm is a blast to shoot all day too. Went through 200 rounds and was sad I didn't bring more. Good luck.

I just picked up a West German 226 the other day, I don't have much time behind it, but so far I'm loving it.

I have big hands im 6' 3" so little guns just don't work well with me. That's why I have stuck with the 1911.

I'm leaning towards the 226 but I cant seam to find one under $1300 with the threaded barrel

Just get a regular 226, and add a Bar-Sto, or KKM threaded later? Love my old W. German 226.

P226 Dark Elite with SRT trigger and threaded barrel right out of the box.. Everything you are asking for.

P226 is they way to go. Hi cap mags great gun. 229 is nice to but a little too small for my taste. Considering you like 1911 they 229 isn't that much different in size.

I just committed to buy a 226 it does not have the treaded barrel but it is new in box for under $900

I sold my kimber 1911 on here in order to buy the 226. as soon as the money shows up I'm sending it out. I have never owned a sig and now I have purchased 2 in one week.
hope it is comparable to my colt 1911. or my Springfield. I'll know in a few days
