Not the 100gr AMax, but something for you at least in the same cartridge:
107gr SMK (this is a LONG bullet for its weight, so not a direct compare with the 100gr AMax, which ain't)
COAL: 2.715"
Primer: CCI BR4
Rifle: 6.5x47L chambered for the 130gr's, with a new 21" Krieger 9twist. The bullet is jumping, by how much I don't know or care.
I have tested the following powders:
H4350 - up to 44.0gr - don't bother, pressure signs observed and low velocity, powder simply too slow for this short a barrel and quick bullet; was shooting bugholes however.
RL-15 - up to 39.0gr - bugholes, near 3000fps, no pressure signs and still a good bit of room left in brass
Varget - up to 39.0gr - I have never loved Varget and still don't with this bullet/cartridge; was doing 50fps slower than RL-15 with poor precision and a strange recoil impulse
N540 - up to 40.0gr - WOW, f-f-f-fAST! Well over 3000fps, OK precision, better than Varget, not as good as H4350 or RL-15; no pressure signs
I went with 39.0gr of RL-15. Final stats: ~3000fps, SD 7, ES 16, across 9 recorded rounds (recorded with a magneto chrono). Shot a 5 round, 400yd group with it that went into 2" hole
