I am looking into getting a tactical tailor malice pack version 2. But I got to thinking I want to get a pack that has a shotgun sheathe made into it. I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations or if they are even made. Ive submitted an email to TT custom shop about making one for the malice pack but have yet to hear anything back yet. Thanks in advance guys.

The advice that comes to you is based on what you need it for.

The Malice is a heavy duty pack, probably too heavy duty for hunting, and better suited for military use. Eberlestock makes a line of packs with scabbards already on them, or able to support a scabbard. Probably in lighter options as well since it sounds like you will be doing an amount of walking

I'm not saying, by any means at all that a TT Malice is a bad choice, it is certainly not. It's a different tool for a different use, and should be treated as such.

Thank you for the input. I'm planning to use it for camping and for generally rucking for some good exercise. I am leaning towards the TT because I used the regular alice packs in basic and loved it. Then used the ruck the army issues once I got to my unit and in Iraq and I hated it. But I will take a look at the eberlestocks.
