We just started building a few RANCH Rifles in 22LR. Right now, we're using the Remington 40X action with our Repeater Conversion Package.

The remaining specs are:

16.5" Krieger SPECTER Contour Barrel, threaded 1/2-28 with cap
BlackOps RANCH Stock
BlackOps Recoil Lug
BlackOps EHD DBM
BlackOps Rimfire Magazine
BlackOps Rimfire Fire Control
BlackOps Trigger
BlackOps Trademark Fit and Finish
BlackOps Catalyzed Epoxy Stock Finish with Texture
MilSpec Cerakote

I'll post pics of the RANCH Rimfire within the next few weeks and we'll be building these with the BlackOps Model 605 Rimfire Action very soon.

He did. Never met him but seems like a great guy - very knowledgable and super helpful. As soon as I saw their system I knew it was what I was looking for. Had nothing but great things to say about RWS Gunsmithing too (who I chose for the build). Said enough that's off topic, don't want to hijack your thread!

That is seriosuly a nice rifle.

Can it be ordered with a slightly smaller profiled barrel ? I'd think a smaller profile barrel, being so short, would be stiff enuff, and might save a little weight.

At any rate, this is an "off hand" hunting rifle, not a bench rest gun. Losing 0.25 MoA accuracy for lighter weight is a trade off I'd make.

We are doing them with a lighter profile barrel, LOP of 12.5" and setup for a Wilderness Ching Sling. The rifle maintains our 1/4 minute accuracy standard and is a pleasure to carry/shoot.
