Well we are having a girl in June and I am looking for some name ideas, need something unique and dealing with hunting or shooting, anybody got any suggestions.

Here are some unique ones that you won't hear called every other second on the playground, Namuyak, it means lucky one, or Nkasiogi, it means the one who is always in a hurry, Tanei, or Liloe, no meaning. These names are Maasai and anyone with a bit of world knowledge knows the Maasai are some fierce warriors and great hunters.
Good Luck!

Had a baby girl back in January and we named her Emma Joelle, which wasn't even on our list. Just came to us after she was born. We have named both of our children after they were born, guess we wanted to meet them first. Named our son Evan Dayne, after doing this same thing here on the Hide. Got quite a few name suggestions. Good luck, and congrats.

Eric

On a serious note for a SHOOTING RELATED name, I recommend Hi-Point.

Sha-Rhondah!

We are in the same spot, baby girl in 30 days.

No idea, tonights crappy name is Jinjer. Wife is a Born again Christian hippie. I like Bronwyn, but the wife hates it.

Colton is last years Aiden or Evan. Is he already stuck with it? Man you got to come up with something else quick. Colton is one of the most popular names in the USA so far this year.

The guy I work with has a Aiden, Evan and a Colton. Top 3 names for the past couple years.

What ever you name your kid, please for the love of God spell it correctly. A friend of mine married a gal with a 3 year old boy named Mehsyn (pronounced Mason). Those regular names with fucked up spelling are one of my pet peeves.

Seriously - name your kid something "normal". Something that will look good on a job application, resume, in the newspaper, on the news, or as a CEO.

My first son's name is Eric, second son (due end of June) will likely be Nathan.

Baby names like Skylar, Aiden, anything thats the bastard of two 'normal' names mashed together, etc. make me want to throat-punch people...

I went to high school with a kid named Skylar, word on the street is he is a gay prostitute in San Francisco today. I know 10 people with a 1-8 year old named Aiden. In 2007 it was 27ths most common name, and has been in the top 10 since then mostly.

I never liked the name, because I always thought it sounded like a product you use on cockroaches.
