I built this about 2 years ago and I waited way to long to finish it...
It's a Rem 700 AAC-SD .308 with;
-H&S Police M24 stock
-Badger DBM
-Leupold Mark IV M5 FFP 3.5-14x50 scope
-Leupold Mark IV 20 moa base and rings
-Harris 6-9 bipod
-JP enterprises brake
-and about a pound of Krylon cammo paint

I just installed the last few parts to finish off this build...for now!

So I went with;
-Badger mini bolt knob
-All metal pod lock
-Timney Flat trigger
-Aluminum scope flippers

What else should I do to it?

Shoot the barrel out. Shoot it till it won't shoot no more. Then have one of the many good smiths on here true the action and put on a nice match barrel and have it chambered in a 6 or 6.5mm. Learning with a .308 will make it that much better when you get a ballistically superior round later. My .02

I got a sea sponge from the craft store and 6 colors of spray paint.

Base coat is Krylon Khaki.
Sponge on the other colors however you like and clear coat with Krylon Matte Finish...

Thanks for the advise Bruno. I signed up for a 3 day long range "Sniper 1" class next month. I can't wait! We will be shooting 250 rounds out to 1,000 yds in 3 days. I need the trigger time. I get plenty of pistol, AR 15 and shotgun practice at work but I haven't been able to shoot past 100 yards in a while.
