lapua .308 brass in nato chambers

just bought a mint ishapore enfield 7.62 my first mil spec rifle, was wondering if I could use my fired lapua .308 commercial (rem 700) brass in it for reloads.

I would use the brass without worrying about safety. However, it may stretch a bit more than you like in that action. I would only load lower pressure ammo in the Enfields though. I'm just not comfortable putting high pressure ammo in an Enfield action that was originally designed for the 303 British.

my Lapua brass says ".308win (7.62x51)" on the case, so you'll be fine. Not much difference anyway.
