Thanks guys, I grew up in Tuscaloosa and been here all my life except for my stint as a msu bulldog as a baseball player. I've spent most of my life wingshooting with scatterguns but started rifle hunting about 6 years ago. The property I've leased for several years in ms started out for quail hunting as I have kennel full of bird dogs . Deer hunting is awesome on the place and that got me into rifles . Started out with 708 and in the prairie country it afforded for some real long range shots so I bought a 6.5x284. Long range shooting started to really intrigue me so I cleared some lanes to 1000 yds with feeders every 300 yds off the lane. A real fun way to harvest some does. Now I've ended up with a 338 lapua for even more fun. With that being said I'm a rookie when it comes to shooting and a long way off from matches. That's why I joined the site to learn all I can to be as good as I can be. Roll tide and yes I know nick and terry for I've done a good bit of work for them . They are great people!
