Rifle Scopes Mounting an ATACR to Remington 700

Well Ive talked my department into buying a new scope for my rifle. You guys got any good choices for rings and a mount to put an ATACR onto a Remington 700 rifle? Trying to get some prices together so I can go ahead and get it ordered.

Yeah, I know the ATACR is SFP but its either that or a Vortex Razor, not that theres anything wrong with a Razor just from what Ive read and researched the ATACR is of better quality. Those are the two Ive narrowed it down to. Thanks.

Get the Nightforce 34mm rings. I went with the High rings on my savage. Probably would have been okay with the medium height but the scope is at a comfortable position for me anyways on the bench or prone. When I ordered my ATACR from Sport Optics they gave me a bit of a break when I ordered the scope with the nightforce rings.

Cool what kind of mount are you using?

I am using the factory 20moa mount that came with the rifle. It checked out true and figured it was not worth upgrading.

The factory savage mount is 1 piece rail.

Still trying to decide between the ATACR or the Razor............

even if you have a really heavy barrel, a 1 inch optical center line ring should be suitable for the atacr, same for the razor as far as mounting height goes.

Go with the Nightforce rings they are really good, and not heavy or overly expensive.



This is their one piece flat mount, but the Ashbury has 20MOA already built into chassis... still rifle is a GAP based off a 700
