Im on the verge of buying my first chassis and dont want to mess up right off the back. I have a savage LRP in 6.5 creedmoor dispite what people say about these rifles i must of got a good one because it holds consistant groups of .3 to .5 all day which this is after much tweaking with handloads. I have decided i want this to be my base for my first long range build. I have aquired a place where i can shoot 1000+ yards. Weight isnt a big issuse as to where i can drive right up to where i shoot from. My scope is a 6.5-20x40 leupold vx3 lr which i have had the mildot reticle and m1 turrets installed. Basicly i would like to know some stuff like if either comes with magazines and any special things ill have to do to the rifle for them to fit and mostly which one has a better feel. I do not have access to actualy try one as nobody near me shoots long range or even messes with anything other then a hunting rifle except me and my wife. price isnt really an issue id like to stay below 1500 bucks with everthing including rings, base if needed, magazines and that such. I like the prs style stock on the JP chassis i had one on a AR and really liked it, but i also like the look of the tatical buttstock on the XLR. Mostly i like the concept of both chassis and really need some good and bad points on both. Thanks guys for any help.

Also the JP website doesn't say anything about magazines being included would I need to order from a different place like brownells to get mags included or not?

You order the ai mags with your Xlr. They are extremely comfortable to shoot. I don't know about the jp's, I've never shot one. I will also add that the cs of Xlr is top notch. They will help you in any way they can.
