Does anyone know how much the parts are that I will need to convert my adjustable stocks on my AR's to a non adjustable stock like the Magpul PRS. I have read that the items are Rifle receiver extension tube, rifle buffer and spring. I have not been able to find these items. Please help.

You don't need one for a rifle length buffer tube. You can use a crescent wrench.

Still gonna need the spanner to get the OLD stock/castle nut off!! ;)

And as a word to the wise having seen and broken many el cheapo stock wrenches helping semi-retarded friends/acquaintances with their builds...don't get one of the garbage Promag wrenches...buy a good one that'll last you a lifetime of service!

Exactly. I like the Tapco stock wrench. It's all metal and works great on castlenuts and the A1/A2 style tubes. They're like $15ish.

I would get the Hammer Head wrench. All steel and very well built with a hole to use an wrench as a lever to break the castle nut if it is stake. Even with the wrench was an extension you may still have to drill the stakes to break the castle nut free.
