Well, for those following my MWS issues, I figured I would post the conclusion.

A quick "cliff notes" version to get you up to speed: I bought the rifle, I didn't feel it was shooting accurately enough, I got a lot of input on loads, how to shoot a semi better, to put more rounds through it, and I tried it all and still no better results. I finally shipped the barrel back into LMT.

After the barrel was shipped out, I found a decent deal on a new KAC SR-25 ECR. I bought it, and ended up deciding that I didn't need two semi autos, so I sold the LMT.

Fast forward to today: I arrived home to find a package on my doorstep. The packing label says "new stainless barrel." So, turns out they tested it and found it didn't meet their accuracy standards. They took care of the customer, and replaced the barrel.

Just thought I would offer a conclusion for those who have been following the thread!

I am glad they took care of you. I am not surprised though. I wish they had the time to shoot at least the SS barreled rifles for accuracy as they would've caught it at the end of the run. Waiting anxiously on the report for the KAC. As far as your thought on ball milling and cutting the barrel, I LIKE IT! It'll be nice to hear first hand how that mams brake does on it as well....
