Rifle Scopes NF NP-R1 and MOAR reticle question.

Does the NP-R1 and the MOAR reticle have the same subtension in a 5.5-22 NXS scope? If not which of these reticles has the finer subtension?

NP-R1 does.

They are not the same. The MOAR is twice as thick as the NP-R1; although the MOAR is still much thinner than other reticles.

I used to have the NPR2 which is similar to the NPR1 and at times it would almost disappear. I sold the scope but was strongly considering sending it back to NF to switch out the reticle to the MOAR. The heavier reticle will also be better for hunting inward early morning & late evening when its prime time.

Have an NP-R1 on the wife's AR and it is a shade too fine/thin for my 49 year old eyes. My F1 with the MOA ret was a considerable improvement for "my" eyes.

Here is the ATACR with MOAR reticle at 25 power targets at 200 yards.
