Those are truly works of art!!! Between the flute styles and the different knobs. As more of a Curiosity at this point what does the Fluting normally run? Ballpark average if it's not rude to ask on an open forum?

Bolt fluting generally runs between 85.00 and 95.00, unless it is something truly custom.

That seems insanely reasonable!!! Looks like a great product, as mentioned above an approximate 2 week turn around time with a solid price seems like you're gonna be a busy busy man.

Do you do skip fluting? About how long would your wait time be for a 18" barrrel and what would an estimated cost be?

Pretty damn cool. Forgive my ignorance, but what function does it serve? Is it just the weight reduction, and how much weight is removed? Are there any other practical uses? Or is it mainly used to elevate the bad-assed-ness of the rifle?

Your bolt shipped yesterday. It came out very nice. Just barely missed the group pic.

Good question. Generally about 5-6 oz. are taken off the bolt. Not really a reason to do it in my opinion. The bolt will cycle very smoothly due to a much smaller bearing surface. Gives grit and grime a place to go IMHO. The "Bad Ass" factor is just a great side benefit.

With some communist states writing laws for weight limits on Hunting rifles I could definetly see this becoming more popular! You do incredibly good work.

As long as we are talking Remington the pricing is as follows: Any of my bolt knob's "installed" - 95.00. A bolt knob purchased separately - 35.00 shipped.

Here's my Tikka Sporter bolt, showing more of Paul's fine work (Tac 6 fluting and refinish). I'm itching to get my stock and complete this project (and will surely post more pics when I do), but these will have to do for now. I will also add that Paul's work really has to be seen in person to be believed. It's just outstanding and my pictures couldn't possibly do it justice.

I don't think you would notice any difference by truing the action. IMHO. Cerakote may cause a little more drag until it laps in.
