Well my dad and I have been wanting to build ourselves some 10/22s for a long time. I finally convinced him to buy the donor rifle, upgrade parts, and a some Duracoat. My job was assembly and paint, and I had a great time. I'm already planning out other 10/22 themes. He really wanted to do a John Deere rifle because every tractor on our farm is green. I think this turned out great, especially for a couple of first timers.

It started out with the skinny barrel and factory stock

Here it is assembled with the B&C stock and Green Mountain barrel

Very nice!
Great job with the colors.

I really like the photos posed on the JD farm equipment.

You "got skills" young man :)

Thanks! Yeah I got lucky with the colors because Duracoat actually makes a "John Deere Green" and "John Deere Yellow" so that made my job a lot easier. It seemed natural to do a photo shoot on the tractor, unfortunately it doesn't even show up very much in the pictures.
