Got tired of paying for targets, so I now print my own on my home printer. I use Microsoft Excel to create 1" grid that I then use magic marker to heavily mark an "aiming square" .
"Aiming black" tends to obscure the scope crosshairs - especially in low light. Looks like this....
Now I can see the crosshairs clearly inside the aiming square. The above is a 200 yard target. Would have to be sized to distance, but these are the best groups I've ever shot.
