I am looking at getting about 100, 50 bmg cases. Want some input on the quality of the brass out there and the pros and cons of each. This is strictly for ELR with 750gr amaxes. I have plenty of LC 08 but I figure at $2 per bullet I did not want to skimp on the brass and have it make a difference way out there. And if you know of anywhere that has some brass in stock, let me know. Thanks for the input.

50bmgsupply may have what you need. While bullet choice varies the selection on brass is rather limited. I cannot speak on the design of "match grade" brass for the 50 but I do use Barrett brass with good results while reloading. Barrett only sells fully loaded 50 bmg for 380.00 for 80 rounds. You might give them a call and see if you can buy just the brass

I'm interested too!

I'll keep an eye on this thread too. I'll be shooting BMG long range soon and I want to maximize my accuracy and distance through consistency, safety, life and repeatability of process with regards to the brass components I use. In a nutshell, I've learned some brass is better than others, a few are a WHOLE lot better than others.

Who does make the best brass? LC, WCC, Hornady, somebody else? Does Lapua make it? Who has most consistent case capacity and life?

Anyone know of a quality BMG brass maker that will make smallish runs of brass, at least small enough for a group buy on here to be assembled?

I'll keep 'em in mind. Thanks. I'll need to start collecting components and gear for it here after a while.

RWS... Funny, that's who used to make my .177 pointed and HP hunting, and match pellets I used when I first started shooting when I was 8. Full circle I guess.

I've seen .50 brass (match and LC) .50-$1.50 per case over the last couple years. I was never planning on reloading it so I didn't pay much attention, sorry. I've got about 200 Hornady and .50bmgsupply (WCC?) once-fired from my Armalite I might get rid of if my friend doesn't want them.

Talking to shooters at FCSA matches over the years IMI brass came very highly recommended by many. I have had great luck with fully prepped LC brass sorted by weight. I always shot from 5" to 12" groups at 1000 yards with VV20n29 and Leigh High Solids out of my custom Mcmillan.
