Question about Bell and Carlson stocks?

How's the quality on their Alaskan line of stocks? I was looking for a stock for a future build, and ran across a B&C Alaskan Ti for a LA BDL. I bought it new for $112, and figured if it didn't work out for a custom, it might be a decent upgrade for one of my other 700s.

So what's y'all's thoughts? Did I make a good purchase?

B&C makes a good quality stock for sure... I have no idea on the Alaskan models though. A buddy of mine was talking about one just the other night. Maybe someone else will chime on in with some info.

I only own a B&C M40 stock, and have never owned any other custom stock. I guess I don't have much to compare to but for the money I spent I was generally happy.

I have a Alaskan Ti stock, actually it is a Alaskan Ti in 25-06. This one has the funky MaxGuard stuff on the stock which is kind of nice when its wet and nasty. For the price I like then, some say the grip is a little thick versus say a McMillan or Manners. But for a "hunting" rifle they aren't bad. This one weighs about 31 ozs. for the stock alone so if your going for a lightweight hunting rig something else might work better.
