So far what is scheduled is set in stone so we have Friday and Saturday but not Sunday so a 2 day match is a no go. so 9-27-13 and 9-28-13 are the date we can have. Or we can do November 1-3. My feeling on the matter is to have a 1 day with a friday get your zero. This would be a low cost bragging rights match, but this would set the stage for next year no excuse match. Or I might have another trick up my sleve. Please leave thoughts but most likly a 1 day match will happen.

OK major update. I have been out of here for awhile now. Between being homeless and my dad being in the hospital for the last 7 weeks and being transitioned from midnights to days I finally have a solid update for you guys.

The match is 100% on! The dates are 9-27-13 thru 9-28-13. One day zero and qualify and one day comp. We have agreed on the stages and the round count. Match registration and sign up will be 7-15-2013. All entries will be set in the order they come in which will be time stamp from e-mail. The cost of the match will be 75 dollars for both days and we will have cash payout for the top 5 shooters.

This match requires 1 moa rifle and turret scope 10x or better. Rough count on rounds is 100. 223 to 300 win mag only. It’s advised that competitors have good data and good zeros. Must also have a range finding reticle and basic knowledge of how reticle and turrets work to accurately range and engage targets. Data books highly recommended with correct dope. Match will be scored by RO no crying or whining. Per club rules new shooters must qualify on the 300 yard line or attend the zero day. Must have data on the rifle or must be a very good liar. Everyone is encouraged to sign up. Packs, food clothing and or all of the above are required for the match as there will be no breaks to go back to the car. LRF are optional and any gear you like can be used but remember, if you have it you have to carry it.

NO ap ammo, no stupid shit of any kind will be tolerated at the range or you will be asked to leave. Keep in mind this will be my first run as a match director so Im sure there will be some hiccups but I 100% confident people will want more.

So for everyone that has not signed up are you just planning on reading about this match? It will be way more fun if you get out and shoot with the rest of us! I dont plan on being the #1 shooter but I do plan on shooting and having a great time. Come on look at the sponsors list there will be some great prizes.

1900 hits and only 20 people signed up? Cmon what are you waiting for? If this is your first one come, you might surprise yourself. If your a veteran you have a great chance of winning a great payout. Either way lets get it filled so we can have a great match.

Looking forward to this shoot and it will be my first. Can you give a run down on what is needed to make the most of this. Decent rifle scope and ammo is not a problem just wondering about clothing, knee pads , etc.

I started shooting these types of matches almost 10 years ago. They were designed to bring out your weakness to shooting and try to enhance fundamentals of shooting. In my opinion it has somewhat strayed from this and has become something diffrent. The match wont be easy by anymeans but it will make you learn your equiptment a little better. As far as equiptment goes thst should be easy, good pack to hold your stuff such as food, water, ammo, bags, ranging tools, dope cards or books, hustler mag to read between stages or whatever you like... Really just prepare to have fun and dont worry about it.

Match is starting as soon as possible. We have alot of stages and. alot of shooting. You dont need any help and you dont need to show me. As far as im concerned you and peter should help some of these guys in your spare time. Im sure it would mean alot yo some that are just starting. I do recomend the zero dsy on friday just yo get some good data. The 7 am thing is to alleviate straglers and get things going such as release forms and shooter meeting and staging.

On a side note its almost filled. Alot of new shooters. I have decided that friday i will hold new shooter class for anybody that wants to attend. If you are a veteran to this type of shooting i encourage you to come and assist. Ill cover scope and reticle, some positional, and equiptment along with marksmanship skills. By no means am i a certified instructor but i do have 10 years experience with this style of shooting.

The people who signed up and paid are in for a nice treat. Should be a nice technical and challenging match. Will be going out tomorrow to start staking and critique the stages. The other guy behind the scenes Dereck, is doing a lot of the leg work for the match and has been a great help to get all of this going. Its gonna be really good.

we have 36 signed up and 28 paid. Im gonna limit the match to 36 for 3 groups of 12. If you plan on attending please get you fees in, as of late I have gotten some stragglers in that have paid. The last 8 will be first come first served to guarantee a spot. Got some nice stuff coming in also for the tables.

Ok moved and setup some steel and went over every stage, you guys are gonna love it. Im in need of a photographer to shoot the match. For doing this I will give you a free pass for next year, please if anybody is interested it would be greatly appreciated. Round count will be in the 70's. I really cant wait to see some of your faces...

Ok great news we have acquired a few more sponsors for the match Euro Optic and Operation Parts have stepped up for our great shooting weekend. Please show you support for these great companies and continue to use them for your preferred vendor.

We have made the decision to make match shirts so please chime in if you are interested. These will be a nice quality t-shirt with all sponsor logo on the back with MPRSC on the front. We are still determining the cost but they should be reasonable. Ill send emails out if people don't see them. Should be around 20 dollars for a shirt. Next year the shirts will be included in the fees.
