So I am trying the OCW load method for my new rifle. It's a 308 and I'm shooting 175gr SMKs. The range is 100 yards. Here is the first target with the powder charges noted beside the individual targets on the sheet. The first target in the upper left hand corner is 43.4 grains, since I cut it off in the pic.
Here is another target that was shot entirely with 44.8 grains of Varget. I loaded these rounds just to have some extra rounds to practice with to make my trip to the range more worth while. These are not all the same round count per target. As you can probably figure I have tweaked the zero of the rifle between groups on this target. But you still can see the group size. I don't know if this completely negates the validity of the OCW test for this charge weight or not, but I included it in the post anyway.
