Manners EH1 vs T2? few questions

I was planning on building a super heavy long range gun but have been rethinking it lately as I would like to use the build as a hunting rifle as well. now im not one to complain about humping a 12lb rifle around as I've done it for years with the military but im starting to debate lighter guns for the ease of getting older and fatter :)

has anyone compared the EH1 to a T2? seems to be about 1lb lighter from the site specs and have a slightly narrower forend. I shoot from a bipod mostly with some off hand shots so the super wide forend isn't totally necessary. everything else looks pretty similar.

also what about the 90% carbon fiber fill? seeing maybe another half pound of weight reduction on a few reviews ive seen on some tactical stocks. im wondering if that much can really be taken from a lighter hunting stock as a base?

and finally, can the hunting stocks be had with the mini chasis? I know that in the hunt for a lightweight rig, not having the DBM would be lighter but its a feature I have grown to like on my current rifle.

I have also put out an email to Manners so I will post what I get if anyone else is interested but I figured I would get some good feedback here as well.

Got a response from manners. The eh1 is made from 100% carbon fiber and has a narrower forearm. Looking up online, I see that the factory aac-sd hogue stock is just shy of 2lbs and the eh1 is slightly less than that so it should make for one heck of a precision rig that I can still take to the woods for deer season. Now to sell the savage and get to saving...
 
the savage is a good rifle and shoots well. its a 10fcp-sr with a fluted heavy barrel and the accurate DBM system. its just not exactly what I want. I really wanted a R700 AAC-SD rifle when I found the savage. I just got a great deal on it in a trade. ultimately, I will end up with a Manners stocked AAC-SD with a NXS 2.5-10x42 MOAR setup.

That sounds like it will work just fine for your needs.
 
The savage works good for what I use it for now. I guess its like driving a mustang gt and wanting a mustang cobra :)

I feel the stock is a weak point right now although I know my skill level isnt being held back by the stock. And the optic is a fixed 10x which is a bit high for my hunting uses. I figure if im going to put money into a stock and optics, I might as well trade the rifle for the one I want
